5/5 We spent a wonderful fortnight at this cabin. First of all, the owner and his family were extremely nice and helpful with anything we needed. The cabin is beautiful rustic, with wood floors and wood walls everywhere. The furniture is very high quality and comfortable. The living room has a large window overlooking Lake Buel, it is a great place to sit and have breakfast. There is ultra fast Wi-Fi and also very strong phone signal. The access point to the lake is very close, we did lots of kayaking using the kayaks that the owner kindly provided. We highly recommend to keep the windows open and the fans going, it can be very humid. Within 10 miles we could find everything we needed for groceries and dining, and virtually all of the Berkshires is within an hour or so driving distance. We also found great rails-to-trails bike paths, one in New York State, the Harlem Valley Bike Path about half hour away was amazing. Altogether we highly recommend this property.

Lakeview splendor
5/5 MiOwn Cabin was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and the perfect size for two people. The view from the living room window was both peaceful and beautiful, adding to the relaxing atmosphere. The two kayaks were a fantastic bonus — we used them every morning, and were thrilled to be greeted by eagles and their fledglings each time. A truly special experience!
5/5 This is an adorable, rustic lakeside cabin n the Berks, it’s the real deal and very comfortable and simply but well appointed. We felt like part of the multi-generational family history in the quaint camp. The lake is beautiful and smaller, so peaceful, definitely grab some firewood along the road for the fire pit. We had a wonderful relaxing lakeside holiday.
