The cabin was nice if a little rustic. The kitchen had old appliances that were not easy to make meals in. The heat came on right away however and we had comfortable nights sleeping. The mattress is a little old however and could use an upgrade. Great location on Lake Buell and nice view of the lake from the living room window. We strolled along the lake every day and it was very nice. Convenient location to hiking trails and a nice little town in Great Barrington. For a cabin it was a nice spot especially since it is difficult to find places that will accept dogs.

Place was clean. Great communication with David.Could use some curtains in kitchen area. Baseboard heat didn't work in living room but other did. Very private, didn't get to use kayaks because it was November. All in was a very nice place and a good weekend getaway

We enjoyed the area very much. The house is not as nice as it looked online. It needs some love for sure. Rusty kitchen cabinets and mold on the ceiling over the shower. But the location couldn't be better. There is 1 parking spot which is a little tight to get into depending on how many cars are in the driveway right across. Don't bring a truck. We did enjoy our stay. View of the lake could not be better.
