Be aware that when you book this property, that is the only communication you will receive on how to access the property. There needs to be a light outside and better clarification on where to park and how to enter the property (since there are 4 doors to the outside) if you are arriving in the dark. The kitchen has most everything you'd need but I would disagree with the other reviews about the cleanliness. I know it's an old house but it needs a deep cleaning and paint is peeling. There are visible layers of dust on the windows and fans. The shower has a new shower head, which was nice, but the tiles need scrubbing. Overall, our stay turned out fine but after I arrived, I reread the posting because I was sure I booked the wrong place since the previous reviews didn't match what I experienced. Someone lives upstairs and although they were quiet, since it's an old house, you can hear everywhere they walk.

There were a couple issues early on that didn’t get the response I would have hoped for. We arrived in the dark and there wasn’t clear direction which door we should enter. Once you open the storm doors, you can see there is only one with a a keypad. Clear direction ahead of time would have cured this. The stopper in the bathroom sink was stuck after I shaved and I was told to work on it myself. The washer showed an error code that said it wasn’t getting water so I couldn’t use that. I told a man I met in the basement about it. He said he would check it out but didn’t before we left so I hand washed our clothes and dried them in the dryer. We bagged everything together and saw someone sorting trash from recycle after we put it out (which I felt terrible about) - no clear direction ahead of time there either. Checkout is at 11A and we were heading out the door at 11 sharp when someone came to the door for what looked like a showing of the place for a rental? The apt is fine and comfortable and the location is good enough. I would not return. I don’t want to try to fix things and have things not work and be ignored during a 1 week stay.

1. Having a designated parking spot with a sign. When we arrived there was someone in the spot and they said they would move and didn’t. We parked in the street for the first night. For the price of the rental and a parking spot in the description that should’ve have been the case. 2. The shower had mold all over the grout 3. The shower pad had mold on it. 4. The fans had a thick layer of dust on it.

Stay was great & Judith was great with communication. I’m only giving it 4 stars because the heat broke the day we got there, and I’m sure it’s fine now, but definitely an inconvenience. Also some reviews say things about the upstairs neighbors, we didn’t hear a peep from them the whole time.

This place was perfect for our trip to Boston! The house was very clean and the parking space was a plus. The neighborhood was quiet and safe. It was nice to be able to come back and spread out and relax after our busy days in the city. The shower was great, too! We didn’t use the kitchen much but it is huge and well stocked. I loved that there was a washer and dryer so we didn’t have to come back home with tons of dirty laundry. I would definitely stay here again if we come back to Boston!
