  House is on a very busy road so road noise is pretty loud. Relatively quiet at night. Upon first entering, house had a strong musty odor. Went away after opening windows. Upstairs bath is in the bedroom which makes it awkward for guests in other upstairs bedroom to use it. Otherwise, house is neat, clean and well equipped. Good location to Tanglewood. Appreciated all the amenities provided by owner, esp sundries in kitchen.

  A/C was insufficent for the house. Doors old hard to open and close, a fw doors could not be closed. A little of a musty smell.

  - I personally inspected the air conditioners after your stay and made a few setting adjustments. They are now functioning properly and have been cooling the house effectively. No further concerns have been reported by other guests.
  - Regarding the musty smell, I did not detect it during my visit. However, I’ve placed air purifiers throughout the home for guests to use whenever needed.
  - The front door issue you mentioned has been addressed and fully resolved.

  the house was fine, upstairs rooms were a bit cramped and the AC did not work too well, especially on a hot day. Downstairs was more comfortable. Our main issue was the location- which should be more clearly outlined in the listing. This was on a busy road ( basically a high way) and very loud, hard to turn into the house and difficult for any walking.

  From the Owner: "I appreciate your stay at my house and your feedback. I checked out the A/C issue upstairs that you mentioned and was able to make adjustments to resolve the issue. There were a few unusually hot days in the Berkshires this summer.
  
  The location is clearly marked on the map with the listing. There is a left turn lane available onto the street next to the house which most people use to turn into the driveway. I include options (e.g., white noise and/or air purifiers) that are quite effective at eliminating any street noise, if needed.
  
  While there are not any sidewalks on the streets by my house, Kennedy Park is on the next street and offers parking and excellent walking trails. Pleasant Valley is just down the road and has walking trails, as well.
  
  I'm quick to respond to guest concerns or questions during their stay and do everything possible to address them."

• A good long weekend

  Ben and I enjoyed a good long weekend at the correctly described Beautiful Lenox Home. Mary, your host, has thought of everything to help you feel comfortable and very quickly to adjust to your home away from home. It is very well located so that you can easily visit the many places of interest nearby. The rules for checking in and out were clear and simple. We are delighted give this a 5-star rating. David and Ben will return, for sure!

• Like going to your grandmother's house.

  Very clean place. Decorated like your grandmother's house. Homey. And you get to use the garage--a big help on a snowy weekend. If you want convenience and cleanliness, this is a great spot. If you want quiet--skip. It's right on Rt. 7 and you have lots of traffic moving by at high speeds. But to their credit, there are many sound machines to drown it out.
