Your next Massachusetts getaway begins at this private cottage in Ipswich! Situated on Rantoul Pond, just 2 miles from Crane Beach, this 2-bedroom, 3-bath vacation rental is perfect for a family retreat in the Bay State. In addition to a fantastic location, this home boasts 2,400 square feet of beautifully-appointed living space inside and an expansive deck outside with great views of the pond. Return from a day at the beach to unwind on the deck or cozy up by the fireplace!
Whether you’re visiting Ipswich to lay out on the beach, see historical sites, or spend some time in the great outdoors, you’ll find that this cottage is in the ideal location! When you’re not cooking for yourself, drive 9 minutes to downtown for a variety of tasty dining options including the Ipswich Clambake Co and Choate Bridge Restaurant.
Put on your swimsuit, pack up a picnic, and take a 2-mile drive down to Crane Beach - Ipswich’s most popular sandy beach. The adults will enjoy laying out and catching some rays while the kids build sandcastles. For more fun on the coast, be sure to check out Plum Island!
Don’t miss out on taking a tour of Castle Hill, an English-style mansion that sits on 165 acres of beautifully manicured grounds that slopes down towards the shore. The best part? The historic estate is just over 2 miles from your front door.
If you’re up for a history lesson (and potentially a scare), take a 15-mile drive down to Salem to learn all about the Salem Witch Trials!
Such a lovely home right on a beautiful pond located in the forest/woods of Ipswich. Beautiful property, well maintained and friendly owners. Would definitely return!

Our second stay at this picturesque property. The views, the privacy, warmth of the environment makes each visit so enjoyable!! The surrounding towns and happenings complement the home. FYI...our hosts could not be nicer people!! See you next year...
Very quiet getaway from the everyday city life. Wonderful community of small businesses. The heart and soul cafe in Ipswich is a must breakfast destination.
