    Beautiful lake house, great decor, comfortable beds, very clean & well stocked. Loved sitting on the deck when we weren't on the lake. Brought our own paddle boards & kayaks & used them every day. We stayed the week after Labor Day & the neighborhood was very quiet. It felt like we had this wonderful lake all to ourselves. This was a very relaxing vacation for us & would definitely come back to Ashmere Lake!

    We are a family of 5, 2 parents and 3 young adults (ages 19-25). We have stayed in many vacation rentals. Here is what we loved about this home.

    Layout of the house is ideal - 3 bedrooms, and 3 separate living areas. 4.5 Bathrooms!! Easy lake access right from the yard, with small deck, 2 kayaks and canoe.

    Fishing from the deck and kayaks provided great entertainment.

    Inside house is cozy with a well-stocked kitchen (coffee and sugar!).

    Supplied with more dishes and cookware than I have ever seen including Brita pitcher. Brand new appliances refrigerator (icemaker!!), stove, dishwasher & laundry.

    The ping-pong table was a huge hit with the college kids.

    Plenty of good quality toiletries in all the bathrooms and laundry area.

    Every space had new HVAC with remote control for perfect temperature settings. Bedrooms are a bit small, but all had generous closets and easy access to a bathroom. Very good library for all ages (including Shel Silverstein!!) plus games and puzzles.

    Good location with easy access to Mt Greylock, Tanglewood and Bash Bish Falls.

    The first aid kit with band-aids and Neosporin came in very handy!

    But truly, the best part of our stay was the property manager, Rick. His communication was excellent — prompt, clear, and warm — and it was obvious that he genuinely cared about making our stay enjoyable.

    This new-build does need a little curb appeal, but that seems to be a work in progress.

    Overall, this was an excellent choice for our active family.
