  This cottage was very comfortable, clean and contained everything needed for our visit.

  It is in a very scenic quiet area just off the Mohawk Trail and yet a short drive to anything you might need.

  We enjoyed sitting out on the deck and enjoying the view.

• Peaceful & Relaxing

  We loved our stay in this home on a farm. While remote it was easy to find and the instructions provided were very clear and helpful. All the amenities were present and it was really neat and comfy. The dogs loved just jumping around the grassy area. We also got to see a deer when out on our walk in the morning. Note that this is slightly remote so you cant get food delivered and the nearest place to eat is a pizza bar which closes early. If you are looking for a quiet stay with an amazing view would highly recommend it.

  The property was everything we were looking for! Private, quiet and comfortable. Highly recommend for those looking to relax in the woods.

  Heads up, phone reception in the area is poor so make sure you have your offline maps ready!

  We loved the amazing view and serenity of this adorable place

  We live on the coast of North Carolina where it is extremely busy

  We were in Massachusetts to see my very sick brother so this helped us to relax I plan to go back to this beautiful place again next year for an extended stay

  The rental was exactly as advertised and worked wonderfully for the two of us and our dog. Accommodating check-in policy and responsive property representatives.

  Not impressed with Evolve Property Management which charged a $50 non-refundable damage protection fee instead of a refundable deposit, and tried to pass it off as a client benefit on the phone when I called to inquire.

  Also, absurd list of check-out demands for the $85 cleaning fee that was also part of the reservation.

  I would not book a property through Evolve again.

  We're glad to hear that the rental was exactly as advertised and worked wonderfully for you and your dog. We definitely try to be responsive, as well as flexible about check-in and check-out whenever possible.
  
  I’m sorry the check-out procedure seemed arduous. We will review the list to see if we can simplify the process for our guests. The cleaning fee is currently $75 and is a pass-through cost that goes directly to our cleaner. (In this rural area, cleaners have further distances to travel and are therefore can be more expensive than in more metropolitan areas).
  
  I spoke to our Evolve representative to get a better understanding of the non-refundable damage protection fee. As you were told when you called, it is set up by Evolve to cover both guests and owners against accidental damages. The way it works, as a guest you pay this relatively low fee up front, and should any accidental damage occur, you won’t be asked for any further payment, even if the cost of repair or replacement is much higher. So it is a bit of insurance that eliminates the need for putting down a much larger deposit for reimbursement, and potentially having to pay additional fees on top of that should the damage be costly. This fee is itemized in the rental costs you see when confirming your booking. I’m sorry that your concerns were not addressed at that time, since this issue seems to have cast a pall on what was otherwise a pleasant stay.
