  The apartment did not have enough bath towels, hand towels or wash cloths when we arrived and it took multiple requests to get someone to come bring us more. By that time, we had found some in the basement. There were no kitchen towels or cloths to wash dishes and the apartment was generally poorly stocked-no hand soap, 1 roll of paper towels etc. Apartment would not warm beyond 62 degrees. Our socks and feet were black after walking on floors even though there was no easily visible dirt. There was a mildly unpleasant odor throughout apartment. There was no top sheet on one of the beds. The water in the shower went from scalding to cold every few seconds while showering. But the biggest issue was that the washer was broken and this was a known issue before our arrival (maintenance man told me that he had recommended a new washer to management). I had asked specifically about the laundry facilities because this was very important for this trip and I was not notified about the broken washer or given an opportunity to find other accommodations. Ultimately, we chose to find another vacation rental because these issues were too many to deal with while we were on vacation. I did not address these issues with the management company prior to moving out after one night because I was not willing to have maintenance and or delivery men constantly in our space while we were trying to enjoy our time together. Management has stopped responding and my request for a refund ignored.

  Location was great and the space was clean. Communication was a bit tricky as I reached out to my point of contact three different times/methods and didn’t hear back from them until I reached out through VRBO.
