4/5 We rented this VRBO to visit our daughter at Smith during parent’s weekend. The house was clean, affordable, and about a 7 minute drive to Smith College. It was a great place to stay and would rent it again. The neighboring rental is quite close, but if you are used to living in a city, it won’t matter.

3/5 Checkin code didn't work. Call no answer. Later receive a text. Said we couldn't check until 4:00 (it was 3:00). Said they would fix it. Text that it was fixed try in 1 minute. Tried and still didn't work. Tried again in a couple of minutes, still didn't work. Relayed info via text. was told to try 1983 (not the last 4 digits of our phone number). That worked. Also light/fan in living room doesn't work( battery?).

From the owner: "Thank you for sending in your review. Our check-in time is 4 p.m. We cannot always guarantee an early check-in (typically due to the cleaners), and the door codes are not set to activate until 4 p.m. When a guest requests an early check-in, we must go back in remotely and manually update the door lock with the new time and wait for it to update. As the update was taking a few minutes, we gave out our backup code to help expedite the process.
As for the fan/light, they are operated by a remote control. We will check and see if the battery has died."5/5 The place was easy to find, and the manager was very responsive to our community inquiries.
