  First the good. Homes location was a plus as we were able to get to most of our activities within 30-40 mins with Cape traffic. Bedrooms are nice size. Downstairs is large. Some suggestions I would make. Ac seemed to have an issue downstairs. Very hot on first floor. Do to the number of guest this home accommodates, there is not enough seating in family room or dinning room table . We had 6 adults and three children. Not enough seats for all of us and two of those children were in high chairs. Family room needs at least another couch. Room so vacant it does nothing but echo every time someone walks or talks. Also would recommend at least another tv in the home and the tv in the living room should be attached to the wall. This is a safety issue with children. Another issue was the tub. Very slippery and no anti slip mat. I highly recommend this get corrected asap. Cleaning crew could do better. Cobb webs on light right inside the front door and a big spider in nice sized web in the family room. We did not use the outdoor space but definitely needs a good clean up. Now for the train. We where there Thursday to Sunday. Thursday afternoon we heard nothing. Friday morning at 8:20 am the train went by. This was no tourist train. It looked like a commuter train, but the kids liked it and it didn’t bother us. We were out of the house all day till almost 9pm. Then while trying to get the kids to sleep that train came by again at 9:40pm. We where not happy and even more unhappy when it came by again at 10:20pm with its horn going the whole time. We never saw the train on Saturday and we where there till almost 10:00 am. So this listing is not truthful. So my recommendation would be if you have small children this home is not for you. Finally safety issue is that those shrubs at the road need to be trimmed back before someone trying to leave the driveway gets hurt. You can not see the road by unit a driveway. This home could be much better for the price. Definitely time to make some repairs to walls and update kitchen items. 4 coffee mugs with one having its handle broken isn’t enough for 6 adults.

  The exterior needs improvement front and the back. The interior was just like the pictures. First downfall the host doesn't state anything about the train tracks that's in the back of the home. The train comes through at least 4 times a day never at night which is a plus. Second downfall is up in the attic area was twin beds on the pictures the bed is on a box frame but when we arrived the mattress was on the floor. Third downfall their was no wash clothes in the whole entire house reach out to the host didn't reply until the last night(Sunday)asking if we would like her to reach out to housekeeping to bring us some wash clothes. I reply no cause we leave Monday morning early. No trash bags for the garbage. We didn't feel it was our duty to supply those items..

  At first glance, you don’t think the house inside will be nice because of how the outside of the attached building looks, But we were pleasantly surprised when we entered. The house is very spacious and was very clean. It was just as pictured in the photos provided. The backyard and gazebo were not cleaned up, but that being said we were there during a nor’easter and the weather wasn’t nice enough to be outside. There is a train that passes in the backyard maybe twice a day which my 3 year old loved. The location is great! Right on 6a, 2 minute drive to a public beach and close drive to other attractions in the area. The house was a bit sparse. We wished there was more furniture in the main living room. We also wished there was a Kurig. They only have a regular coffee pot. The freezer leaked while we were there as well, as was mentioned in other people’s reviews, but all in all, it is a very nice place!
