• Amazing stay!

  We spent the past 4 days at this property for a family wedding in Cape Cod. The location was perfect and allowed for easy access to the beach for some fishing and downtime. The house itself was perfect. Incredibly clean and well appointed. The provided linens and towels were fresh and clean and beds were very comfortable. The host communicated well and even shared with us some tips for where to go to enjoy a nice walk in the neighborhood.

• Perfect beach cottage

  My kids and I had an amazing stay at this beach cottage. It was immaculately clean and fresh and right next to the beach. The short drive to Main Street Hyannis made this the perfect summer stay for us. Can’t wait to come back next year.

  This cottage was perfect for me and my two older kids. Proximity to the beach and downtown Hyannis was ideal. The cottage itself was adorable, private and immaculately clean. Cannot wait to return!

• Cottage in Covelle beach area

  We had a great time. We were especially pleased that the owner gave special permission for us to have the after memorial lunch at the house.

  The bathroom sink did leak. But when we told the maintenance man, Jerry, he got right on it. There were no cleaning instructions, but we did a bit.

  Close enough to The Centerville Country store to walk. Craigville and Covelle Beaches were within minutes. Perfect!

• Property was pretty disgusting

  Caveat that I know this is a dog friendly stay, and therefore I think cleanliness should be even more important. When we walked in we noticed the rug was full of hair (chunks) on top of being a nasty shade of brown. There were crumbs and hair all over the floor and the couch cover, plus crumbs on the stove. The bathroom floor and grout were absolutely disgusting. We called the guest contact and she returned my call within 20 minutes and showed up in another 20 with a vacuum and a swiffer,which was nice but honestly not enough. There is a vent in the middle of the living room with years of caked on dust, and I hated that my daughter was breathing that air in. Her socks were black at the end of the day. We left a day early... would not recommend staying here if you value cleanliness. Thankfully we slept on our own sheets.

That said, we take feedback seriously and have since replaced our cleaning service, purchased new rugs, bought all new boxsprings and mattresses, removed the floor vent, and made numerous other upgrades throughout our home. We're also providing new bed linens and towels at no additional cost going forward.
