  Upon arrival, we couldn’t enter locked garage because we weren’t given instructions. Turns out there was a garage door opener in the unit; however, we were never told this was the case and even if we were, we couldn’t get into the unit because the key was in a lock box. There were 8 lock boxes and no indicator as to which was the correct one or how to use the lock boxes. Through trial and error, we found the lock box and eventually found the garage door opener. Huge waste of time that could have been easily fixed if we had the correct phone number of the owner. It turns out the phone number we were given was incorrect. The owner has since said this was fixed.

  Regarding the unit, it was clean and full of amenities, however, 2 basic travel needs were not met:

  SLEEP, due to a “bullet” train next to our bedrooms that went by every 15 minutes we had very little sleep! This should have been disclosed in the description, as we never would have chosen this location had we been aware. In addition, the pull out bed is much too small to advertise as comfortable for 2 adults. This wasn’t comfortable for 1 adult. It would have been a much better experience to have a real bed in the 2nd bedroom. Finally, the batteries were dead on the blind remote and because we couldn’t get in touch with the owner, my son had to not only sleep on the tiny futon, but be woken early by the sun.

  TV, could only stream shows in the living room, not watch regular cable TV or news. The description indicated there was cable TV in all rooms. Additionally, it would have been helpful to have instructions as to how to work the TV remote.
