3/5 The location was great—right across from a store and small restaurant that was easy to walk to - and we even saw a deer in the backyard. Unfortunately, the house had several drawbacks. Every door (bedrooms and bathrooms) required a code, which was inconvenient with kids as they auto locked when closed. There was no true living area or shared TV, making it hard to relax together as a family. We found no towels in the bathrooms, then discovered a few folded in bedroom closets but no washcloths requiring us to use kitchen towels for oversized/heavy washcloths. The downstairs bathroom wasn’t fully cleaned with long dark hairs found in the shower and floor, and the back patio door didn’t open despite our multiple attempts. Outdoor furniture was dirty and worn with rips and holes - not like the picture in the listing, and the beds and pillows were uncomfortable. Overall, it met basic needs but wasn’t family-friendly, and we wouldn’t stay again as is and for the cost charged.

5/5 we had a great time staying in Avon. the house was clean and comfortable. would definitely stay again the next time i come to Boston.
