  Neither I or the customer service people from Evolve were able to get in contact with the host and the cleanliness was poor to say the least and we had to wash all of the bedding and purchase plastic mattress covers and mattress pads because the mattresses were stained and unsanitary. We also had to buy cleaning materials and disinfectant to clean and sanitize the place. There’s mold on all of the entrances, rust in the refrigerator freezer, spiders everywhere and the oven is atrocious.

  Location is great for crabbing. However, house is outdated. Lots of things need to be fixed since last visit (October 2024) but nothing fixed even after addressed in comments. Like the restroom and sink in the dock area, light fixtures in the dock, shelves in fridge are broken, kitchen sink is clogged. I love the location, just need to fix those issues then this house will be fabulous.

• Great stay on the water

  Great stay overall ride on the water plenty of space. The only thing I wish is that the listing was accurate on the bathrooms. They’re only two bathrooms in the house.

• Could have been cleaner

  The house was nice and big but it was not very clean. The freezer was very dirty and gross. All of the ceiling fans had mounds of dust on them. The ceilings had black dust on them. All of the shelves in the living room needed dusting. There dead bugs in some kind of wax filled glasses used for decor. The floors really needed a good mopping. There were no trash cans in the bathrooms (I searched). The deck was beautiful, the house was spacious. Beds and baths were mostly clean (1 shower had bugs and stains). I just recommend a professional clean before guests arrive.

  - The freezer is regularly cleaned, but a tin foil liner is used to help manage ice buildup. We will explore options to keep it looking as spotless as possible.
  - After hearing your feedback we have since added trash cans to each bathroom for guest convenience.
  - Additionally, we are reviewing the cleaning routine to ensure dust on fans, shelves, and ceilings is thoroughly addressed before each stay, and they’ll be looking into a professional deep clean to tackle any overlooked areas.

• Family vacation great for crabbing

  The house is in a nice location, best dir crabbing. Bottom level is old but we don’t really care because we don’t even use it. Inside the house is spacious for our needs, just need some dusting on ceiling fans and restroom vent fans. Mattress needs to be replaced bc it stumped in the middle. Other than that, we enjoy the house. My kids enjoy the bunk beds. Master bedroom is huge. The freezer is huge, exactly what we want it. Overall, 5 star
