The Country Club is just 2 doors down, where you’ll find a bohemian-style pool area with a poolside bar and outdoor kitchen, as well as a beautifully renovated restaurant for fine dining.

In the morning, cross the street to the newly developed Crescent Park. This beautiful park allows you to walk along the Mississippi River to the French Quarter, with stunning views of the shipping activities and the New Orleans skyline.

Continue walking through the park to New Orleans’ oldest neighborhood, the French Quarter. This neighborhood is filled with history, charm, and plenty of local shops, restaurants, events, and nightlife for everyone to enjoy!

With river walks, bike rides, numerous festivals, swamp tours, historical walking tours, haunted tours, and so much more, New Orleans is a prime vacation destination. Whether you want to walk, uber, or tour the city via horse drawn carriage, you’re ideally located to explore it all.

  • Fantastic Property

We booked Nola Place because my daughter wanted to go to New Orleans for her 21st bday and wanted a property that was close to the French quarter and still with the old feel of the city. When we arrived Jim welcomed us and showed us around giving us great info about the city. He made us feel at home while showing us around the property. Will definitely come back and stay here when coming back to NOLA.

Awesome stay with an awesome host! You have enough amenities at the house and within 2 blocks of the house that the only thing you will have to travel away from the area for is a grocery store or to explore the Quarters. The Quarters by the way is roughly 1 mile away and you can actually walk to it through this walking trail. That means once you park unless you have to haul bags from shopping then you don't need to move your vehicle.

  • Long weekend in Bywater

    5/5

I rented this house for my sister's bachelorette and it did not disappoint! The house is split into two buildings - one building contains the kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms. Then, there is the building with the hangout space. As a pregnant woman who went to bed by 9 each night of our stay, the set up was ideal. My sister and her friends could party it up in the hangout space, and I could sleep comfortably and quietly on my own.The house itself was old but had a lot of personality. Not much more to it than beds in bedrooms and 2 bathrooms , but we made ourselves comfortable. The hang out space had a pool table, TV, fridge, a dartboard - everything you could need - plus a nice screened in porch. There are some great restaurants and cute cafes in Bywater, and Jim gives you lots of ideas of places to go. We were able to walk to the FQ one day, but otherwise ubering was a cheap and easy way to get around. We loved the neighborhood and the location, we felt very safe. I would definitely stay here again!
