  • Weekend getaway


    Property was recently renovated very clean. Nice up-to-date. It was a very chilly weekend, so really just chilled inside, our son and daughter in law braved the chilly weather and tried to fish off boat house, but no luck. We truly enjoyed the view. Definitely plan on

    going back late spring early summer. Would love to take grandchildren there.

  • Awesome location


    The location and view are awesome. The boat ramp in the backyard is super convenient. The house was very clean. It was outdated in some if the rooms and beds were not comfortable.

  • Horrible


    Pictures aren’t what appears in person. Place was not clean. There was holes in walls. Poor insulation in place due to not cooling off the whole house well. We was there for 4 hours and stayed at 78-80. Game room was a hot box. Owner was ugly about me calling to complain about how hot it was. And asked if I could wait 45 more min to call an AC man since it would cost her $250 to send someone out there. Didn’t want to chance that so I ended up staying somewhere else since I had two newborns that was staying in there. So we left and I would like my refund back since we didn’t stay there.

    Hi Haley, we want our guests to rest easy when they stay with us, and we apologize you experienced some issues during your trip. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following:
    - Our cleaners inspected the property on the day of check-in to ensure it was clean, and they confirmed its cleanliness. We're following up with them to ensure that all cleanliness concerns have been resolved for future guests.
    - Later that same afternoon, you reached out to inform us about the high temperature inside the house. Just before your call, a helpful neighbor alerted us that the storm door was left open for quite some time while unloading the vehicle. Upon hearing about the open door, we suggested allowing some time for the A/C unit to catch up, which you initially agreed to. However, shortly thereafter, you called back, urgently requesting that we arrange for a service visit to address the situation.
    - To gather more information, we contacted our cleaning crew to inquire if the A/C was running when they were at the property earlier. They confirmed that the home was very comfortable earlier that day. Nevertheless, we took immediate action and called various A/C repair companies in the area, and one gentleman agreed to come and inspect the unit on the same day. The cost for this service would have been $250, a cost we were more than willing to cover to ensure your comfort.
    - At this point, we reached out to you again to inform you that a technician was on the way. However, you declined our efforts and decided to check out, seeking alternative accommodations. In response, we canceled the A/C service visit to see if the issue would resolve itself. The following morning, we checked the thermostat and found that the temperature had returned to a normal level, indicating that there was no issue with the A/C.
    - Given that there were no issues with the A/C and the home simply needed time to cool off after the door was left open, we've determined that a refund wouldn't be appropriate in this situation.
    - We use local, professional photographers to make sure that the listing photos correctly reflect the property.
    We do all we can to make the best possible stays, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests.

  • Back to school get away


    The cabin is big and can accomodate large family. The location on lake is good and dock is nice. The grass had not been cut and there was trash in the yard. The inside had not been dusted is a very long time. Very thick dust on everything. Sticky kitchen floor. Dead crickets on deck, cigarette butts not emptied on porch, filthy bbq putts. It really needs a good cleaning top to bottom, inside and out!! Beds had clean sheets!!! We go to the lake often and would stay here if it were cleaned up!

We're glad to hear you enjoyed the location and the dock! We are sorry to hear that you did not have the five-star stay we endeavor to provide our guests.
    - We have adjusted the grass-cutting schedule to once every two weeks due to the exceptionally hot and dry summer we are experiencing, which is the hottest on record. This has been an unusual weather pattern and there's no rain in sight, which is atypical for Louisiana. Typically, we expect warm mornings, mid-afternoons, and evening showers, but this year has been different.
    - We value the cleanliness and condition of our home. To ensure efficiency and that we maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, we will be completing renovations for the entire month of October. In this time frame, we will address all necessary concerns.
    We truly do our very best to deliver an exceptional experience, and we are confident that future guests will have excellent stays.
