  This property is nearby an event we were attending. The location was great but the property while not bad could use a little upkeep. The instructions for the red door unit were not clear. It should specify that the key lock box is on the post behind you while facing the door. The bed situation was different than posted online. There were only blankets/ fitted sheets not top sheets. There was a smell in the bedroom that finally went away.

  Was contacted 3 hours before check in that "lights weren't working because of power surge". In actuality it was because of mice and rats chewing on electrical wires.

  Claimed they had a property right next door with "same amenities" I booked a 2 bedroom 2 bath house and the property we were given was one bedroom one bath.

  Rat droppings everywhere, shower I could barely turn around in, coffee maker not operable, k cups eaten by mice. back door not operable because of settling foundation.

  Sticky surfaces in bedroom, Stained couch, Stairs that were down right dangerous to navigate to beds upstairs. (didn't book a 2 story house with stairs)

  Never have had a bad experience with VRBO but this one was. Should have just stayed at the motel 6.

  - After further inspection, an electrician confirmed that a damaged wire, not rodents, caused the initial electrical issue at the original property.
  - The home you stayed in was recently remodeled with updated walls, ceilings, flooring, and appliances, and we’re committed to keeping it in great condition for future guests.
  - We understand that the staircase may feel unique due to the custom design, but it meets safety standards and has not received similar feedback from other guests.
  - The coffee maker was verified as operational, and our team found no indication of rodent activity with the provided coffee supplies.
  - Regarding the back door, seasonal humidity can cause minor sticking, but it is secure and fully functional.
