  It’s a cabin. Had issues with the door locks not working. The refrigerator was leaking water. When one person went to sit on a chair, one of the legs fell off.

  Second to last night we had booked, a storm came through and the window/wall began to leak and one of the beds got wet and unusable. We checked out a day early and moved to another location. We were refunded for our last night stay which again we ended up leaving a day early.

• Beautiful cabin: ugly bugs

  The cabin was beautiful and nicely designed, but we were extremely uncomfortable due to bugs, lizards, and other insects. Dead and live bugs were all around us and we were not happy to be there! We were unsuccessful in finding other options for lodging near here. We hoped bugs were not in our belongings to infest our homes! I am most embarrassed for bringing my friends here! We would like our money back for this stay! And we should charge for cleaning and exterminating.

While we maintain routine professional pest control and conduct thorough cleanings and inspections before each guest’s arrival, occasional insects may appear due to seasonal and environmental factors beyond our control. When you reached out on your first day, we responded promptly and offered to send our cleaning team to address the issue immediately. That offer was declined, but we remained available to assist throughout your stay. As a gesture of goodwill, we provided a partial discount on your reservation, which you accepted. We feel this was a fair resolution, given that we acted quickly to offer corrective action while the stay continued as planned. We take guest experience and cleanliness very seriously and appreciate your feedback.

  Nice countryside home close to Lafayette and Crowley.

  Our family stayed here while in town for a wedding, and the home worked very well for us. It met our needs and was a welcome alternative to the few hotels available nearby. We appreciated having a comfortable place for everyone to stay together.
