Historic Clinton is about 10 miles away from the property and features a small selection of restaurants and antique shops. If you’re in town on the first Saturday of the month, be sure to check out the farmer’s market!

Beautiful house
5/5 We loved this property. It was perfect for what we needed and the fact that we could bring our dogs made it an amazing trip. The location is about 30-40 minutes from the nearest large grocery store, so plan accordingly! Beautiful area and great accommodations!

New Years Getaway
5/5 Stayed for 4 nights over new years. The place was very clean and kept in nice shape. Very homey feel. We did a day trip to New Orleans and also took a drive down to the Gulf to Grand Isle. Both great trips. Also went to Tickfaw State Park for some hiking.All around very nice. Also went to Baton Rouge and had some great seafood at a restaurant called Parrains.

Home away from home
5/5 This house was perfect for us! Everything that is in the description is correct. There where no surprises at all. There was limited cell service on the property but it was great to disconnect for the week and just enjoy each others company! Renters before us actually drew out a map of the property and pin pointed where the cell service worked. LOL
I had a wonderful conversation with the owner Ms. Melanie while we where there. She is a lovely woman!
The house has so much room and is so quite. We will definitely be recommending this house and will be returning in the future.

5/5 we loved being able to disconnect , but at times (when we needed to turn GPS on or try to contact loved one, or was difficult) other than that, absolutely loved it!
