  Hard to communicate with Host . I had made reservations and then a day later. Contacted the host about adding an extra day period then about a week later. I suggested to add an extra day if someone could contact me and there was no contact period in about 3 weeks later. I wanted confirmation. From the host about the stay even though I'd received an email confirmation.Nobody was texting me back on the message.Host app. All in all love, the farmhouse and the fenced in yard , there are a couple things that, in my opinion need attention. The countertop ice machine did not work ,the back shower did not work as well, however, could have been due to the cold temperatures, but the toilet and the sink worked fine .All in all a nice stay and would probably stay there again , just would like better communication , thanks ,

  We’re sorry for the frustration around communication. We strive to be very responsive and provide multiple ways for guests to reach us, including direct contact information on-site. We also reached out during your stay, but it appears some of our outreach was undeliverable. We would have been happy to assist if we had connected. To add another layer of redundancy, we are also posting additional on-site contact signage for future guests.
  
  We apologize for the back shower and ice maker issues. Both have since been addressed — a plumber has inspected the plumbing, and insulation is being added to prevent cold-weather issues, and the ice maker has been replaced. We also keep spares on hand so any concerns can typically be resolved quickly when brought to our attention.

  Host was very accessible and accommodating. In spite of the weather, the boys had a great time in the hot tub as well as the firepit. The dogs loved having the freedom to roam with the nice closed in privacy fence. The poop bags and container are a great asset, though we always have plenty of poop bags, it was nice. The shower in the guest rooms leaked and you can tell it has been an issue for quite a while because the floor and surrounding areas have been damaged and mold surrounding the base of the outside shower. Some maintenance in other areas, too. The only other big disappointment were the selection of dishes, pots and pans. It all seemed geared more for drinkers than what a cook needs to cook and bake in the kitchen for a dinner or any meal in general as well as containers for food storage for fridge. Otherwise, it was very nice. When we came in, there was a lovely little Christmas tree all decorated and lit. The fireplace is a nice touch and very warming and welcoming. It was nice and clean on arrival. Bedrooms and bathrooms were large enough for proper use. Large towels hanging on the hook by outside door leading to hot tub was a nice touch. I felt bad, I forgot to leave a tip for cleaners. So sorry even though we pay a hefty fee for cleanup, it is always nice to feel appreciated with a little cash. My apologies. We feel we left the house in the same clean condition as we arrived to with dishwasher loaded and going as well as washer with towels loaded and going.

  This was the perfect location for the four of us because we went to Louisville, Lexington and several distilleries south of Shelbyville. We enjoyed the amenities of the house.

  A great place to stay if you don’t mind a drive into Frankfort. Loved the outdoor space to hang out after a great day of activities. The house furniture has been changed out in the living room to a short couch and 4 small chairs with ottomans. I’m sure the photo of that room will be updated soon. That’s why I rated 4/5 stars in the photo representation category. I had to phone the property manager for the wi-if password. He answered on the 2nd ring and then followed up with a text and phone call to make sure all was well. Wonderful prompt service so 5/5 for Rob - thank you!!! I would definitely stay here again if Frankfort is in our travel plans for future.
