So my husband and I nicknamed the space: hobbit house. Sorry, if it offends. When you first open the door you're met immediately to a tiny staircase. . Im a size 12 female and there was only about 7 inches of space on each side of me of free space. At the top of the stairs was a safety gate. Which i presume is there to prevent you from falling to your death in the middle of the night, however, this was diffucult to bring a cooler in. We had to completely lift the cooler over it which is 3.5 foot tall. The ceilings are very low. Im 5ft 7 and these doorframes are probably only 7ft and 9 ft at the most for the ceiling. The shower is at a slanted slope so if youre more than 5ft 9 youre going to hit your head. Overall, the stay was nice. But this is not friendly for disabled people. We aren't disabled but i couldnt imagine how someone with challenges could get up the steep outside and indoor stairs.

We made a wonderful decision when we chose to rent an apartment. It was exactly as it was pictured. It was stocked with everything we needed: dishes, towels, pillows. It was in a good location; everything we needed was close by (restaurants, grocery store). The neighborhood the apartment was in was very quiet and nice. The best part was the property manager. He was fantastic! Every time I texted him he replied within a couple minutes! He was so helpful! The only bad things were the stairs were rather steep (but there were pictures so we expected it) and the tub was very small (tho it's almost impossible to get a tub these days anywhere). We will definitely rent an apartment again when we are in Lexington next summer!

We were very pleased with the apartment we rented in Lexington kentucky. The bed was very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, etc. There was a generous amount of towels. The air conditioner worked great; we were very comfortable during our whole stay. There was a lot of storage space for our clothes. There were only 2 negative things: there were a lot of steep stairs (but were did know about them in advance) and the bathtub was tiny. The thing that impressed me the most about it was our contact person. The couple times I needed to contact him I sent a text and within minutes he responded. We were very impressed with him! We were very pleased with our stay there and would be happy to stay there again!
Unit wasn't clean upon arrival. There was hair in the shower and on the bed. The garbage had not been emptied. The floors are really a problem. They are so poorly done they pinch your feet. I also had the front of my sandal get stuck under the boards and I fell. It is dangerous and not just an annoyance. The faucet in the bathroom was leaking. The air conditioning unit responded maybe 30% of the time. The unit manager said not to mess with it too much, but we couldn't just turn it up and down. Basic things that would be useful: towel bar in bathroom (ample room for it), toilet paper holder, longer shower curtain liner so that water stays in. Also, the plug-in smell was overwhelming and gave us a headache. We left a night early and drove 8 hours rather than stay the 2nd night.

We had high hopes for this cute little studio, but we left feeling pretty disappointed about our choice of air b&b. Check in and out was quite seamless, but upon arrival we found the residence didn't have any toilet paper or towels for our 3-night, 4-day stay which left us running to the grocery store during the last 20 minutes of them being open to try and find some. The sink leaks and the air conditioner is quite finicky. We are short so the tiny bathroom and short shower head was fine for us, but it would have been a big pain in the butt for an average sized person to use. The floors are in pretty rough shape and cut our feet, and the bed was uncomfortable, so we ended up leaving a day early to drive 7 hours home to sleep in our own bed. We aren't particularly picky people, but this just wasn't the place for us. It would be a fine little place to stay for a night, but I wouldn't recommend staying for a lengthy amount of time.
