Good stay
4/5 There is no central heating/cooling for the cabin so the bedrooms were freezing at night. Sleeping in the loft would be almost hot. Otherwise it was a great space and good location. Clean. Loved having the fire pit and the stars at night were amazing.
Cave City Cabin
5/5 We had a wonderful time at the cabin, despite Mammoth Cave national Park being closed due to the federal shut down. We were able to find some nice private tours at diamond caverns and did the underground river cruise at lost River cave.
Retreat Cabin near Mammoth Cave
5/5 My two oldest grandchildren joined me for a trip to Mammoth Cave National Park, and we greatly enjoyed using the retreat cabin as home base. It was an easy drive back and forth to the park. The cabin was comfortable, clean, peaceful and had everything we needed.
5/5 House was perfect for my family. There was a little confusion at check in because our gps took us to the first house on the property which looks exactly the same as the house we rented but we quickly resolved the confusion. House is close to Mammoth Cave but still tucked away and private. If you plan on cooking make sure you bring the essentials-seasoning, oil, foil, etc.
