  Overall, it’s a comfortable cabin with beautiful views. This is where the negatives come in… Upon arriving at 3:20, we walked into an uncleaned cabin…granted it was Thanksgiving. The trashcan still had a trash bag filled with trash, dirty dishes were in the sink, beds were unmade, dirty towels hung from the shower rod, and the toilet was…let’s just say dirty. **note that I found two indications of a 3:00 check in and one that said 4:00. Since we travelled from Indianapolis, I figured the 4:00 had not accounted for the time change. We called the property manager and she responded immediately indicating that check in time is 4:00. Ok…all good. We killed some time and arrived back to the cabin at 5:00. They were still there cleaning. Once we were able to get into our rented space, I noticed that the floors were not swept, so had to sweep them myself. I also had to wipe numerous hairs from shower/sink/etc. The final kicker for us was the camera pointed directly onto the patio. In our opinion, we rented a space for it to be ours and to not feel as though we are being spied on. If the cabin had been properly cleaned prior to our arrival, I would have ranked this property much higher.

  -We sincerely apologize for the cabin not being ready for your stay. We rely on an external cleaning service, and the expectation is that the property is fully prepared for our guests. We are currently working with the cleaning team to ensure this is corrected moving forward.
  
  -The only active camera on the property is positioned to monitor the steps and driveway, ensuring security. Rest assured, no cameras are directed toward any seating or recreational areas.

  The property was great we really enjoyed it..The only complaint would be it needs ac units in bedrooms.

  Absolutely adored our stay! The driveway was the only thing that threw us off just because its on a steep hill but overall loved it

• Lovely cabin in the woods

  We were 3 60-something girlfriends who would be spending the day at Dale Hollow Lake (10 min drive to Sulpher Creek Marina), and spent 2 nights at this cute cabin. Trish was VERY responsive to our needs. The cabin was not luxurious or professionally decorated, but had everything we needed and was good value for money. Also very clean.
