The property was as described and Colleen was a great property manager, with excellent communication throughout and even provided delicious fresh cookies at the start of the stay! Don’t hesitate to stay here if you’re looking for a great place that is centrally located within Emporia with plenty of room to spread out. We will definitely look to stay here again in the future!
Owners response: "Thanks, Josh! Disc golfers are some of my favorite guests! I’ve been sporting some impressive socks, thank you!"
Stayed at this property for a gravel race along with 5 other friends. Excellent communication before, during and as we left from property manager. House had all the amenities and great space and decor. Owner actually lives next door which was helpful for questions. Could stow bikes in garage and work on then. Highly recommend.

We were in Emporia visiting family for the Thanksgiving holidays and loved our stay in the Bennett house. The historic home was renovated with love and attention to details that featured Kansas beauties (sunflowers and starry skies) and Emporia’s famous pastimes (disk golf and gravel bike races). The kitchen is gorgeous and well-equipped, and the beds were super comfortable. Overall the house is beautifully furnished and in a great location close to downtown Emporia, where we enjoyed shopping at Granada’s chocolate shop, Twin Rivers winery, and more. We look forward to visiting again soon!
