  Nice house and location on the lake. Has a spacious deck overlooking the lake. Owner was friendly and allowed us flexibility regarding parking of our boat trailer. Met our needs for a family vacation.

  Our family was there for a weekend and there were some things that I feel should be noted. The view was great but the location is not very desirable if you have a boat. The channel in front of the house is quite shallow and full of algae, which makes parking a boat on the lake difficult. The property owner lives in the house behind and “lurked” for lack of a better description which felt weird and out of place. The water in the house is bad. So much so that there are rust stains in sinks and showers and there is a strong rust/iron smell. The water pressure is also not great, washing long hair is time consuming due to the lack of pressure. I was given one contact number through VRBO but I was contacted by a different number regarding check in process. Would be great if VRBO information was correct. The sheets were clean but the house didn’t feel clean. Floors needed swept, kitchen sink was dirty, there was 1 dishwasher pod, barely hand soap, 1 extra trash bag so bring extras if you stay here. Overall, disappointed in the rental and wouldn’t recommend.

  - We wanted to clarify that we do not live in the neighboring home; our family was visiting that weekend for their annual tradition of gathering to watch the lake fireworks and staying at their property next door.
  - We were in the middle of transitioning cleaning teams during your visit, which likely caused the shortages of supplies and subpar cleaning. These issues have since been addressed to prevent future guests from experiencing the same.
  - We appreciate your comments about the water quality and pressure, and are exploring ways to improve these areas for a more comfortable stay.
