Wonderful home with all the amenities you'd need covered and more. There was extra bedding, throw blankets, extra towels, and a well-stocked kitchen for all your cooking needs. The beds were SUPER comfortable, and the layout of the home was perfect with the bedrooms located on the second floor for those wanting to sleep in or those wanting to go to bed early. The location of the home was perfect to walk to all the downtown sites as well as visit the river for sunrise/sunset. We did rent a golf cart for convenience and comfort and would recommend the same for anyone who may need assistance in getting around with ease. The only suggestions we could offer would be window/door coverings or curtains and as a note to future guest, because the home is older, the stairs do creak, a lot. If you think you can travel the stairs quietly, this is not possible, no sneaking up/down. The neighbors in the blue house on the corner towards the river were very friendly and suggested different restaurants and sites to visit in the area. We will be back and plan to rent the Peacock on Poplar again!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It has upscale appliances and decorated beautifully. It is so conveniently located to shops and restaurants. I would definitely stay there again!
My co-workers and I had a great experience with this property and with the property manager. The house was beautiful and was exactly what we were looking for in our stay. The city itself has come a long way in terms of preserving its history and we enjoyed being able to take in Madison during our work trip.

I would highly recommend this home if you’re visiting the Madison area. We especially enjoyed the backyard space and the firepit. Home was located on a quiet street within walking distance to many shops, restaurants, and the riverfront.

The home was amazing, it had everything we needed and then some. Very clean and beds comfortable. The only thing that I would suggest is putting some sort of railing at the very top of the steps where it turns to the left. My sister who is 74 had a hard time going the last few steps because she didn’t have anything to hold onto.
