A perfect summer geraway
5/5 Our family of 17 loved this home. From seeing deer in the morning across the field to swimming all day to the relaxing at night, my wife, kids & grandkids could not have asked for a better stay.

Outside maintenance, false noise rule, etc.
2/5 We stayed here and the interior was fine enough. Two of the bathrooms in the house do not have locks on them, so if you're staying with a large group, you might get walked in on. The outside needed some maintenance. The pool liner is pulling away from the sides in multiple places. We were told there was a "city ordinance" to be quiet at 9:00. We looked up city limits and the house isn't even in city limits. The address is LaPorte IN and LaPorte's noise ordinance in town is 11:00 (during the week), so I think the 9:00 is a lie. The first night we were there, we received a text from the property manager about noise at 8:53 telling us to keep it down. At this point in the night, it was 6 adults playing cornhole without music and was prior to their BS 9:00 noise rule. The listing says there are 3 outside cameras that will not be on when you stay here. I can tell you there were about double the amount of cameras and they recorded the entire time we stayed here. In my opinion, for what this home cost to rent ($6,500 for 4 nights) I would rent somewhere else.
Great for Extended Family
5/5 Plenty of space to spread out for 10+ adults. Between the porch chairs and pool furniture, there was always a place to sit in sun or shade. The forested lot provides beautiful views and privacy. All the bedrooms were comfortable and equitable, so every couple was happy.

Enjoyed our stay
5/5 Our family enjoyed our stay at this home. Very comfortable for the 14 of us. Best equipped kitchen in a rental I have seen. We loved the pool. Owner is very friendly and responds quickly to any questions.
