  LOVED our stay at Lake Escape! We had 3 families stay for "cousin camp", which included 8 kids ages newborn - 9, and everyone had an absolute blast! The kitchen is stocked with everything you'd need for cooking, plenty of sleeping space with beds and 2 huge couches, tons to do at the lake, fully stocked game cabinet, and the detached man cave was excellent for the adults to be loud watching sports and playing games late into the night while the children were safe and sound sleeping in the main house. Everything was cabin/lake house quaint; don't expect a 5 star resort from a cabin stay, more clean, functional, and orderly cabin vibes. We will be back for a long weekend for sure!

  Our family takes a yearly trip to spend time together making memories. This place was just what we needed. The 15 of us had the best time acting like kids at the lake on the slip-n-slide, zip line & all the other toys available. We even got to have a fish fry with the fish we caught. If you’re looking for a place to make memories off the beaten path this is the place. It’s not a 5 star resort but it’s definitely a family & pet friendly memory making adventure. We are looking forward to coming back. Thanks for sharing your hidden treasure with us.

  The house is nice. It wasn't clear from the picture that the deck isn't by the house, it's down a gravel road that you have to walk to and from. The paddle boat was broken and the trampoline wasn't fully inflated and couldn't be used. The washer was broken. We had more than one person show up to property during our stay that shouldn't have been there. One of them was fishing near the house. The other was a member of the next party who wanted to check out the property, he then backed up off the side of the gravel path. He almost went completely over, which would have been a 100 foot drop straight down. There should be guard rails on that side of the gravel road.

  - The deck is located a short walk down the gravel road, and we’ll work on clarifying this better in the listing so guests know what to expect.
  - The paddle boat and trampoline were confirmed to be in working order, though we apologize if there was any difficulty operating them during your stay.
  - The washer in the home is brand new, so we’ll double-check its functionality to ensure it’s easy to use for future guests.
  - Regarding outside visitors, this is unusual and not permitted. We’ll take steps to ensure guests’ privacy and safety are maintained going forward.

  Overall this place was perfect for our family gathering. Lots of things to do for every age group. There were a few things that could use some maintenance, but if you’re looking for a place at this price point with a private lake, I’m not sure you can beat it.
