Great Christmas Get-Away
5/5 We were in town visiting family for Christmas. The location was perfect - only a few miles from them and the house was so roomy. Lots of room, plenty of towels and the farm fresh eggs were a real treat. I LOVED that each light switch had a label on it so we knew exactly which lights to use. The beds were very comfortable. The WIFI worked perfectly although the password listed had an upper-case letter when it was actually lower case to work. There was no TV in the house, but we brought our own, hooked it to the ROkU and and indoor antenna we brought which worked great.
We will definitely stay here again when we visit. We originally booked it because we were planning to bring our dog, but we ended up leaving him home with a sitter. I love the option of bringing him along if we needed to.
The only thing I would've changed would have been to have a brighter light installed in the downstairs bathroom. The bulbs were very dim.
Overall - it was an excellent property and we enjoyed our stay.

Family gathering around graduation
5/5 Our daughter's graduation ceremony was at Goshen College for her masters from Merry Lea Environmental Learning Center. Since all the family was there, we had a family gathering, including a formal discussion of end-of-life matters. It was a good setting for that.

Lovely home
5/5 Rise and Shine did shine. What a great little gem in rural Elkhart county. The place was so clean, well cared for, and well equipped. The owners go above and beyond to have the small details take care of. Would totally recommend
