Good trip with some issues.
4/5 Overall, a good house.
Pros:
- Truly is steps from Miller Beach which has a snack shack with burgers, ice cream, etc.
- House is very cute and well-stocked.
Cons:
- We could not open the lockbox to retrieve the key. I texted and called the number they provided several times. It took a few hours to get a call back which was stressful. Ultimately, she sent someone out to help.
- The house has a critter issue. I assume they are mice, but they are in the walls and cause lots of noise starting very early in the morning (5am).

Great location!
5/5 Don’t let location keep you from renting this amazing rental, Gary Indiana has some beautiful lake front properties. This nice home is literally steps from the beach, 2 min. walk. The location is ideal for visiting the Indiana Dunes National Park. I suggest a short drive north to care stair ants and shops in New Buffalo, MI.

Great Place close to the Beach
4/5 Very spacious, awesome supplies, fully loaded with everything you need. Only a 2 block walk to the beach in a lovely neighborhood. We would definitely recommend this place.
