Cleanliness is a requirement
2/5 The house was cute but sat near the road. Upper lift had low ceiling- adults could not stand. Fireplaces were gas and could not be regulated. We could endure these things but kitchen didn’t meet our standards. Silverware drawer was dirty. All dishes were mismatched, And old. Skillets had badly scratched Teflon coatings. I washed everything before I used it and we left after one night.

Hi Dianne, we take it seriously when guests let us know that we missed the mark, and after sending your feedback to the homeowner, they’d like to share the following:
- The home is located approximately 75 feet from the road, and to ensure you had clear expectations, we did send you a photo prior to your stay.
- The loft area does have lower ceilings, as shown in the listing photos, but provides a cozy space accessible via a full set of stairs.
- The fireplaces are gas-powered and feature automatic settings that regulate their operation for safety, but they can be adjusted to meet our guests preferences.
- The kitchen is equipped with two nearly new matching dish sets, multiple coffee cups, and drinking glasses, along with additional plasticware and red solo cups. Additionally, there are three brand-new Teflon skillets with no scratches stored in the oven drawer, and the silverware drawer was cleaned prior to your stay.

5/5 Rosemary has a beautiful home, filled with so many unique items. The pictures do not showcase just how beautiful the home is. We were amazed when we opened the door. The kids loved the loft area. Check in and communication with the host were easy. We loved all the lodge had to offer and thoroughly enjoyed playing in the yard, catching fireflies and watching the deer in the field. Sunsets were beautiful. The lodge was easy driving distance to the Ark Encounter and the Creation Museum. We chose the scenic country route and were not disappointed. Just down the road you can go to the riverfront in VeVay and walk the beach. Our trip was lovely. Thank you for allowing us to rent your home Rosemary!

Weekend Fishing Getaway
5/5 My husband and I stayed for the weekend and fished in the Ohio and Kentucky Rivers. The cabin is very cute and there is a lot to explore in the area.

Unique place to stay
4/5 We enjoyed this unique lodge! Decorated with hunter/antiques:) Bed were comfortable and clean. The upstairs bedroom has low ceilings for adults but a dream for little children. Appreciated the toys she had for grandchildren!Owner is very nice!
