Perfect Family Get together
5/5 A perfect place to celebrate our 40th Wedding Anniversary,
Our 5 adult kids and their spouses were very happy with the clean and roomy accommodations. We also invited a number of wedding participants.
Everyone was excited about the rooms and other amenities.
The excellent "bar room" was a perfect spot to relax.
Jenny Bell was a perfect hostess
The outdoor patio overlooked Lake Monroe with a perfect view.
We are all till talking about the fun we had. Everyone joined in the cooking
in the well stocked kitchen. They all want this to be a repeat experience
1/5 Excellent for big family getaway
5/5 This is a wonderful, big space that is perfect for a big family or friend group. I was hosting a reunion of some fraternity brothers during the Wisconsin football weekend and it was perfect. We were able to grill out, there were enough bedrooms and baths for 12 guys to have some reasonable privacy while all being together. Excellent big dining space and comfy space for watching TV. Location is feels ouy of the way but is only 10 mins from all the stores around college mall, and only 20 mins to Memorial Stadium. Plenty of refrigerator and freezer space and laundry capacity for a big group. The folks at the restaurant were super nice when we went over to see if we could get some extra ice. Beautiful view of Lake Monroe. It’s is a huge space but it feels cozy. Would definitely rent this again.
Great location with tons of space
5/5 We loved using this property for our large gathering! There was plenty of room for everyone, and plenty of amenities to use. It was close to the IU campus, which was great for nostalgia visits, and for close proximity to mother bears :) everyone wants to do this regularly now, in no small part thanks to this location!
Roomy & Well Located
3/5 Great locale - view is wonderful. Very roomy. It is a bit quirky and needs the remodeling to be finished. Th additional acreage noted is not easily accessed and you may have to walk through an active campground.
