• Lack of cleanliness

  This truly is a nice historical home and as I’m from Auburn it truly was great staying there but it was very dirty had to clean the best I could with no mop no vacuum just a half sized broom the no wifi was a big deal breaker for me but luckily I noticed this before my trip and took DVD’s for the grandkids. Reached out to evolve they weren’t informational at all with said property and the contact person left me on read for over 28 hrs but they did eventually respond…. A lot of cleaning and ALOT of maintenance and put some lighter curtains so they can be opened to let in some natural light and this home would be GREAT…

Despite our efforts to prepare the home for your arrival, including the service of our recommended cleaner, Nicole, it's clear that we missed crucial areas. We understand the importance of a clean and welcoming environment, especially in a historical property, and we fell short of providing this for you. 
  
  Regarding your communication with Evolve and the delayed response from our contact person, we offer our sincerest apologies. It's our goal to provide responsive and helpful support to our guests, and a 28-hour wait is far from the standard we strive to uphold. We're looking into our processes to prevent such delays in the future and ensure our guests receive the timely and informative responses they deserve. 
  
  Your constructive feedback on the maintenance needs and suggestions for lighter curtains to enhance the natural light in the home is invaluable. We appreciate the suggestion.

  This place was filthy! Dirty microwave, fridge, bathroom was disgusting with soap scum and cobwebs on the windows. There's no cable or dvds to watch anything in the THEATRE room they promote. They also had an attic portion rented out to other people that is not disclosed. The worst experience we have ever had.

  - We're truly sorry for any inconvenience caused by the cleaning schedule, leading to the delayed housekeeping deep clean servicing before your arrival. This is not common and rest assured, we've refunded all cleaning fees to you. We're committed to ensuring that the property remains clean and welcoming for all our future guests.
  - Regarding the home theatre, while our listing doesn't explicitly mention the availability of DVDs, you'll find a fantastic selection at the nearby Redbox rental locations or the local library for your entertainment.
  - As we aim for transparency, there is a separate rental unit on the upper level of the home, just as we've mentioned in the property description.
