Great place to stay for the weekend of our friend’s wedding.
The house did smell slightly of smoke when we arrived. Otherwise no complaints, the host was very communicative.

Clean and exactly as described. The host responded promptly to every question I asked. We did use the Metra, but it would have been great to get downtown if we would have had the time. The house needs a few small additions for a larger group, but still very adequate. The neighborhood was also nice to walk in.

Used the house while visiting family. Had a little mixup with the code to unlock the door but was resolved immediately.

Everything was wonderful! The Area, the cleanliness, nice quiet place would definitely stay again The hosts were lovely people and communicated with Mr the whole time! Nothing but great things to say!
I traveled with my two daughters and infant grandson. We all have special dietary needs which is one of the primary reasons why we chose to stay in a vacation rental. There are very few
restaurants that can accommodate our dietary restrictions. And we wanted to save money! Restaurants are so expensive these days!
When we arrived, I attempted to boil some water for the medicinal tea I drink daily. The stove would not light after several attempts. It was clear there was no gas to the stove. I contacted the number given for issues with the property. I was told I would have to turn the gas back on to the stove as they had had some service recently done. When I found the valve, there was a warning tag stating that the line was improperly installed and could not be turned on due to safety reasons. So I let the property contact know about the problem. He offered to buy us a pizza for the inconvenience of not having a means to cook for a week. Needless to say, this was completely unacceptable. We can’t even eat pizza.
Apparently our concerns (there were more issues, like the dead battery in the lock that left my daughter and grandson stranded in the heat to try to figure out how to get in the house) were shared with someone at a higher pay grade who then offered a $75 for our inconvenience. I spent hundreds of dollars and way too much time researching places where we could safely eat, getting us to those places and paying A LOT of money on meals. We paid for a kitchen.
