Was not cleaned. Smelled like dead rats
2/5 The bathroom downstairs toilet leaked, the floor was wet the entire time. The ceiling downstairs was leaking, we had to have towels down almost the entire time. The house was NOT CLEANED. I had to spend two hours cleaning it after arriving. There was a dead rat in the kitchen sink drain. We had to sleep with the rancid smell the first night. Owners sent a maintenance man who got half of the rat out of the sink and left. My husband had to open the sink and drain and get the other half. The smell infiltrated the entire home. We booked the home for 3 nights originally for 8 people and there was only 8 towels available.

- We sincerely apologize for the condition of the home upon your arrival; although it was professionally cleaned the day before, it's clear it did not meet our standards, and we’ve since implemented stricter quality control with our cleaning team.
- The odor and the discovery in the kitchen sink were completely unacceptable. We responded quickly the next morning, but regret that the issue wasn’t fully resolved during your stay; we’ve since updated our emergency response procedures and changed pest control providers to prevent it from happening again.
- We’re sorry for the plumbing issues you experienced; both the leaking toilet and ceiling have now been fully repaired, and additional towels have been added to better accommodate larger groups.
- As a gesture of goodwill and to acknowledge the impact these issues had on your stay, we issued a discount to reflect our commitment to making things right
