A true gem of a property
5/5 This house sits on such a beautiful location overlooking the lake. Our hosts were very friendly and made sure everything went smoothly. When the heater didn't work, he came out personally, got it running again, and made sure it would work properly for the rest of our stay.

Relaxing stay in Peoria!
5/5 Carol and Joe are so attentive and communicative. You can tell they truly love sharing their home with you. The deck out front overlooking the river is the perfect place to hang out and visit. We also enjoyed having a campfire in the back. It was all set up and easy to get going. The home was clean and the kitchen was stocked with pots, pans, glasses, etc., even coffee. We stayed during a cicada event. It was fun watching all the bird action. If we ever return to Peoria, we will definitely stay here!

Gorgeous Views
5/5 We enjoyed our stay so much, we extended it. Beautiful home well supplied even for the furbabies. and clean. Good location and things are easy to get to. The views off the huge deck are awesome and I feel my spirit has been renewed. We will definitely be back.
Wonderful time away
5/5 We enjoyed everything about our stay. Clean, comfortable, thoughtfully equipped with everything. The information book is very useful. It even contains menus from several restaurants! The view is amazing!To watch the sunrises over the Illinois River made getting up early worth it!😊

Great stay!
5/5 We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house is clean, comfortable, peaceful and well equipped.
The fact that they accept pets made it easier for our siblings reunion, as one of us has a small dog.
The location is perfect to view the Sun rising over the Illinois River every morning. Beautiful!
