  My wife's family is from this area and unfortunate events brought us back up here from Southern Illinois. We needed a place to stay for a few days during a couple of funerals. We were able to book this place without any issues. I didn't have any issues with the price or the location or the home itself. I will say it was a little hard to keep solid contact with the contact person. The house was a little outdated and smelled old. You can definitely tell it's a former older person's home. The decor is outdated and cheaply put together but overall not bad. My only real issues with this place is the really short toilets. No dishwasher and the tub did not plug so that I could give my kids a bath. Had to give them a shower. Otherwise no real complaints. Price was very respectable. The home was nice, clean, well put together. It would have been nicer to have a few more TVs for my boys because they listen to music or watch TV shows as they go to sleep. There was only one TV in the entire house and it was in the front room And it's a rather small TV however, parking was sufficient. You can park on the road in front of the house in the garage or in the back drive. Quiet neighborhood had absolutely no issues. They accommodated my pets which made me happy though I do feel the pet fee was a little high. I paid with taxes included $158 for my two dogs who are well trained and behaved and potty trained and I don't get any of that money back but truly I would recommend this place and I would return as I do have family that live up here. I would give this place an overall 3 and 1/2 Stars
