1/5 Confusing or conflicting instructions in advance of arrival, entry code incorrect during late evening check in, but most notably bug infestation affecting most all rooms including bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen. We did not stay on the property upon keying in a seeing the infestation or hundreds of bugs.

The entry code concern was addressed right away, and the ladybugs were treated immediately after the report. I also arranged for professional pest control to ensure the home is fully taken care of for future visitors. 5/5 Enjoyed our stay. I would not recommend this house for anyone with mobility issues but it was very kid friendly!
5/5 Great place to spend a weekend or week away! The kayaks and canoes were amazing to spend time out on the lake and river. Nearby nature preserves allowed for some fantastic hikes. Comfortable beds and great spaces for lounging and cooking with an incredible porch with view of the lake to watch the bald eagles and herons while sipping your morning coffee. Highly recommend!
