    I stayed here with some friends for new years eve and had the BEST time. If you're looking for a house with character, walking distance to great restaurants and shopping, then this is your place. Decorated with class and vintage touches. One room is even a "disco cave" with colored lights to dance and party in. Will definitely be back. Don't miss out on this incredible find, you won't be disappointed.

  • Cutest place in Galena

    We absolutely loved staying in this adorable, cozy home!! It oozes character in every room and it had everything we needed for our stay. There even was a “make up” towel for the ladies to use, which I thought was a special touch.

    We had a blast in the “disco cave” and danced all night in it.

    The location is perfect because it’s just a few blocks away from the down town shopping and restaurants. It’s wonderful to be able to just park the car and walk everywhere.

    If I could give 6 stars I would!

    Overall the stay met our expectations. The house was nice and quaint and as described. The kitchen area was great for a group hangout. The location was convient and close to downtown with parking. The walk was about 10 minutes to Main street and shops/parks/food/etc.

    Cute town and the Halloween parade was fun to see.

    I would definitely recommend staying at 510 Federal. From the minute you walk in the door you are embraced by the tastefully decorated living room. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. We really enjoyed getting together in the cave and listening to music and catching up with our traveling companions. The user guide was very helpful and informative with easy to follow instructions and suggestions for dining and exploring the town. Only being a few minutes from downtown town was great. And such a very relaxing quiet area. I was surprised by the size of the rooms for being an older historic home.

    Property was very clean, comfortable and accommodating. The check-in was very easy and accessible to downtown shopping and restaurants. It is about 15 minute walk, but due to uneven pavement/sidewalks it took us longer just to be safe. We will be back!
