• BEWARE - INFESTED AND NO REFUND

  I reserved to stay here 5 nights to attend a training at the local college 5 minutes away. I only stayed 1 because the property is infested with fleas. I contacted the host Dylan right away who was very apologetic for the state of the property but stated that I had to go through Evolve for a refund. I contacted Evolve the next day as I was too busy trying to find a new place and cleaning all my cloth items that I had brought into the property all while I was attending a training and after speaking with Dylan I thought everything would be handled smoothly. Evolve stated that I would not be receiving a refund "due to no documentation". I am not sure what kind of documentation they expected me to provide. Was I expected to collect samples and send to them? Was I supposed to set up a photo shoot for fleas because I don't think would have been very successful due to them not staying still to take pictures. Their expectations are not only ridiculous but also gross. I attempted to get more information on their reasoning for this denial and requested the documentation of their "investigation" and included the property host Dylan in the email conversations with Evolve only to receive a "sorry for inconvenience" email response. I reached out to Dylan via phone again and he said that he spoke to the property owner and she agreed to give me a refund and he stated that he had received an email from Evolve that they had approved to give me a refund of $687 and the cleaning fee. Which would have been fine with me because all I requested was a refund for the 4 nights that I did not stay there and nothing more. However, the email he received was not sent to me and he received this email before I received the denial email. Dylan stated that he would forward me the email he received but as of today (2 days since this conversation) this has not happened. I did email Evolve sharing the information that Dylan had shared with me over the phone and there has been no further contact.

  It doesn't seem like their "Rest Easy Policy" was followed as I paid $847 to stay in an infested property for 1 night not to mention the extra costs incurred to clean my items and pay for a new place that was further away than this place was to my training. It makes no sense that I would want to cause more of a burden for myself if there wasn't an issue at this property.

  I will never use this booking platform ever again and I will most certainly not stay at any property that has Dylan as a host.

  We had a fantastic stay at this rental home! The house was clean, well-maintained, very cozy and exactly as described. The location was perfect. The host was responsive and helpful.

  We would definitely stay there again and recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing and hassle free stay.
