  The property was in amazing shape. All of the amenities worked perfect and there was excellent water pressure for showers, which is huge for me. The neighborhood was extremely quiet, and the house stayed cool even during the hottest parts of the day

• Boise Vacation

  Stay was nothing short of perfect! The space, neighborhood, and proximity to the downtown area was great! I got up daily to walk to the Sunrise Grill for coffee which was a mile away, and enjoyed the cool crisp air. Kudos to the owner for keeping the house comfy and quiet while we were there.

• Meridian Getaway

  Location was perfect! I walked to downtown Meridian enjoying food and beer at Loose Screw. Mexican fountain place had amazing underground food too. Nice, comfortable, and clean place. Might want to bring a blanket if you get cold.

• Comes up short in several areas

  A lot of issues that don't show up in pictures. The home is very old and cheaply remodeled, so the old house smell is overwhelming. The bathroom drains were very slow and the tub seemed to backflow some sort of sludge. The dishware was dollar store quality and the kitchen table and chairs were child sized. We chose this home for the fenced yard, but you can't access it from inside the house, which is disappointing because you want to be able to let your dog out safely at night without having to get bundled up. The latch was broken on the gate as well so it wasn't a secure area regardless. The driveway had a large pine with a broken branch hanging down so parking and exiting the vehicle was a challenge. There was no chest of drawers in the one bedroom, and some of the closet shelf and closet floor had construction materials that took up space that could have been used. There was only one pillow on the very firm queen bed, but luckily we were able to loan one from family in town. We also borrowed a broom and dust pan which this house didn't have so we could leave the home as we found it. I have a property listed on VRBO as well and I don't like leaving a poor review for another owner, but this property is far below normal expectations.

  - The home, like many in the area, was built in the 1940s, and the listing photos accurately reflect its features. The dining set was chosen to fit the space.
  - A plumber has been scheduled to check the slow drain, and the lawn crew will address the hanging tree branch.
  - Construction materials were mistakenly left in the closet but have since been removed.
  - The upper level doesn’t have direct yard access, but the gate latch is being fixed for security.
  - A broom, dustpan, and extra pillows will be restocked for future guests.
