We had a wonderful stay here. The charming country home was very clean and we enjoyed cooking in the large, extremely well stocked kitchen. The open floor plan and long kitchen table was perfect for some of us to play board games while others watched football. The host was very easy to communicate with and answered all of my questions very quickly. The house was very well stocked with everything we needed for our three night stay over Thanksgiving. The beautiful, country setting was a great bonus. I will definitely book this home again when I visit Grangeville.

This is a charming farmhouse with great owners. They were very communicative and responsive. We rented this for two months for work and they took great care of us. In fact, it then got rented out by other coworkers the very next day because it worked so well.

The farmhouse was the perfect place for a family gathering. Having the kitchen, dining and living rooms connected and open made it so convenient to visit while getting a meal together. The huge, long table and countertops made buffet meals a breeze. Having two full bathrooms was mandatory for a large family gathering. Having two bedrooms down and two bedrooms upstairs was perfect. Those with bad knees slept downstairs and the younger family members slept upstairs. The stairway is kind of narrow and has a couple of turns in it, just like the ones from my childhood. The upper bedrooms don't have air conditioning and do get hot, but blackout curtains and large fans help with that. The evenings always cool off on the prairie so it doesn't take that long for the upstairs get comfortable. The second bathroom is located conveniently by the kitchen and the two upstairs bedrooms. As far as aesthetics it was like stepping back into my childhood. We enjoyed reminiscing about things like kitchen utensils, old sewing machines and light fixtures from the past. Not a single room in the house felt crowded. The owners thought of everything that you might need. The cupboards were fully stocked and even had ziplock bags. In the garage were coolers for extra drinks and folding chairs that we used for the parade. The host was very prompt and kind. The sunsets were spectacular. I could go on and on. We absolutely loved this place!

our only suggestion is that there was a king size bed in the bedroom on the main floor.
