Perfect Trip
5/5 The Bungalow is a quaint, authentic little home which sits just a few blocks from downtown Winterset -- central to everything. Our host, Heather, was very responsive and helpful. House was very clean and uncluttered. Loved the books about the area as well as the Covered Bridges. I was able to finish the sequel book to Covered Bridges called "A Thousand Country Roads" -- didn't even know it existed -- while I was there for 3 nights and 4 days. If for some reason, we would be in the Winterset area again, I would absolutely try to book the Bugalow.

Great spot in Winterset
5/5 We had an absolutely wonderful time staying at this property in Winterset, Iowa! The house was not only clean and comfortable but also full of charm and character that made us feel right at home. The location is perfect, close enough to explore the town’s historic landmarks, including the covered bridges and the John Wayne Birthplace Museum.
The home had all the amenities we needed for a relaxing stay, including a fully equipped kitchen, cozy living space, and comfortable beds. We particularly loved spending time on the porch in the evenings, soaking in the quiet surroundings. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and responsive, ensuring that we had everything we needed during our stay.
