• Cute little house for family get away

  If you’re looking for quaint charm, this pet friendly house is for you! The house was clean, bright, and comfortable. The owners have done a fantastic job with indoor updates. We were so happy to be able to bring our dog along as well. The convenient location was outstanding.

• Cozy pet friendly home

  We stayed for three nights with our two dogs. The location was perfect and we were able to check in early. We enjoyed our stay - the only problem we had was that the fenced in part didn’t have grass. There were wood chips and I had to take our dogs out from to go to the bathroom. I had forgotten my prescription sunglasses and the owner was very responsive and met me at the house the next week for me to get them.

  It was ok. Not thrilled at the place for the price we paid. I have stayed at other places in Clear Lake for the same price or less that have been much better. The house is very old, main bedroom is very small, air conditioning does not work as well in the 2nd floor, and the bed in the main bedroom is super uncomfortable.

  Also was not happy that there was no extra toilet paper, there was only one roll and we had to go and buy additional toilet paper since we stayed for 5 days.

  Also no ironing board.

  As mentioned, it was ok.. there was nothing incredibly wrong, but for the price I was expecting a lot more.

  As a side note the rest of my family stayed at a new place 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom for $45 a night which was smaller but new, better air conditioner, and beds more comfortable.

  - Our home's age and distinct character are part of its charm as it was built in the late 1800s. It's what we and others who have stayed there over the years have found especially appealing. We have carefully maintained and updated our home to ensure guests will be comfortable and enjoy our home as much as we do.
  
  - The home has a new central air conditioner, but we will make it a point to check and see if the vents need to be adjusted to allow more air to flow upstairs. There are also ceiling fans and additional standing fans in the bedrooms.
  
  - While we try to accommodate all guests' comfort, mattress taste is subjective, and we have never received any complaints about this in the past. We're sorry the mattress didn't meet your preferences.
  
  - We appreciate your feedback regarding the toilet paper supply. We will have the cleaning crew put out some more rolls in the future from the stock we have on hand. We wish you would have reached out if you needed more as we would have been more than happy to send our guest contact over.
  
  - We strive to be transparent with our guests at every stage of the booking process and do break down all rates and fees before the reservation is confirmed. We are sorry to hear our home didn't meet your expectations. We are accustomed to providing 5-star experiences, so this feedback is surprising. We do all we can to make our homes the best possible stays, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests.
