Golf enthusiasts love the quick 7-minute drive to reach the Waikoloa Village Golf Club. This well-maintained 18-hole course features a pro shop, practice range, a chipping green, and an on-site restaurant. Other golf clubs around the property are Francis H. I'i Brown Golf Courses, the Waikoloa Kings' Course, and the Hapuna Golf Course.
There are a variety of beaches all within a short drive of the property including the 49 Black Sand Beach, Wailea Beach, Kaunaoa (Mauna Kea) Beach, Holoholokai Beach Park, and more. If you're in the mood for some shopping, be sure to drive 18 minutes to the Kings' Shops or Queens' Marketplace!
Some other ideas for fun on your trip to the Big Island include snorkeling, fishing, hiking to a volcano, taking a sunset boat tour, or fishing in the Pacific Ocean!

Beautiful property in quiet neighborhood
4/5 Very much enjoyed our stay. Clean comfortable lodging. Wasn't aware the trade winds really howl in this area which also brought inside black dust.! Live and learn :-). Even with the little sitting area beside the building, there was really no place to get out of the wind if you wanted to sit outside. Some days were quiet. Wished owner would have supplied garbage bags for our months stay. Internet was inconsistent.

Waikaloa Studio
3/5 The unit is actually a garage turned into a studio and we didn't know that until we arrived. The garage door is still there also; however, the interior is all walled in and new. The dryer vent door knocks when the wind blows all night long. The window A/C is noisy and in the summer it works hard for that area. The water heater is a tankless unit that tripped the circuit breaker several times. I had to reset the circuit breaker behind the picture next to the bed. All in all, it was a clean place to stay at a low price for the Waikoloa area. Had we known it was a garage studio, we would have stayed at another location. I recommend replacing the window A/C with a split system. It would be much quieter, more economical, and perform much better. The dryer vent unit should be replaced with one that doesn't knock with wind. The water heater circuit breaker is probably too low amps for the heater, but the heater did provided ample hot water while working. The manager was friendly and supportive on the water heater problem. We didn't mention the other items during our stay to him, just figured we'd mention them in our after trip report. The studio is completely furnished with plates and all items needed for cooking, cleaning, etc. We stayed for a week, but were only there in the evenings.

Causy place
4/5 We stay there 5 nights. Nice place to visit the North part of the island. The village itself is quite quiet and not much to do. So you need a car to visit around.
