We stayed in Hawaii for 3 months and really enjoyed our stay here. The landlords have already greeted us very warmly with gifts - thank you for that. We were always able to reach them and they always tried to support us with any questions we had. Everything was perfect.

We have stayed in many condos at Makaha Valley Towers. This condo was a little bare when compared with others. It had one large screen TV while most others have one in the living room and a smaller one in the bedroom. It didn't have a dishwasher, dining table and chairs, toaster, or a dish drainer. There was a drying pad to place the washed dishes on. One of the couch arms was a little threadbare. The rent was more affordable than most others. All in all we had a good time. We stayed in April and the peacocks were in mating season and quite noisy and the males were displaying their fanned tail feathers.

From the owner: "Thank you for your feedback, Bonnie, and thank you for leaving the condo in great condition. We are already working on improving/adding some of the items you mentioned in your comment. We would love to host your stay again in the future. Mahalo!"
The Makaha Valley Towers are a wonderful place to stay to get out of the tourist craziness in Honolulu. The condo was very disappointing. I contacted the owner because there was no coffee pot or toaster and no property manager. The coded door had low battery flashing which I was told to go buy batteries. There were just a couple of light bulbs for all the lamps. The place was very outdated with holes in the couch and poorly managed by the owner. The bed had layers of foam to sleep on. We would not recommend this place for anyone seekng to enjoy Waianae. I do not usually leave bad reviews, But this place definitely need one to allert others.
