• Wonderful Stay!

  My family and I spend a week here in June, 2024, and we were so happy that we did. This condo is wonderfully decorated. The Tiki theme was a massive hit with the kids. The kitchen was well-equipped, and we dined in for all but beach lunches and a handful of other meals. The 2 bedrooms were quite roomy. My wife and I used the back bedroom with an en-suite bathroom while my children shared the other bedroom with our youngest in the PacknPlay provided. The lanai was where we had the majority of our meals, and it was a pleasure to sit out in the morning and evenings. Eldorado has three pools. The whale pool is the best for kids by far, but the other two are generally quieter and more secluded. The beach cabana was great! I generally filled the beach wagon with beach supplies from the closet in the condo while most of my family rode in the complimentary shuttle you can ask for at the office. I could walk to the beach on the sidewalk in less than ten minutes, but was always beat by the shuttle. Whalers Village and Black Rock Beach are only about a 15 minute walk. We would happily stay there with our family again!

• Fantastic Family Vacation

  My family of 6 stayed at the Tiki Tiki Condo in late June of 2024. We wanted to make it extra special because one of my daughters had a birthday during the stay. The Condo couldn’t have been better. First off, while not directly on the beach, the Eldorado is more than happy to take everyone to their beach cabana via complementary golf cart shuttle. The walk to the beach is about 8 minutes. The condo provides a closet full of beach gear and a beach wagon. The walk is extremely pleasant, so I usually did that while most of my family rode the shuttle. Ka'anapali Beach is my favorite beach in the entire world. The dining and shopping down in Whaler’s Village is only 11 minutes walk. If you drive, a restaurant can validate your parking. We found that the parking is easier and cheaper garage at the Outrigger next door and the Maui Brewing Company Restaurant at the Outrigger is a bit more reasonable and will also validate your parking. We also went on a dolphin watch with Teralani from that location. There are three pools on the property, and we used them all at least once. The Whale pool is the best for families. The condo itself is a roomy, corner 2-bedroom. Both bedrooms had California kings. We stayed in the smaller of the 2 with the en-suite bathroom. The larger room has another California king and a foldout sofa. The condo is also equipped with a PacknPlay, which we needed for our youngest. The decor is Ka’anapali and Tiki themed. It’s fun and creatively done. Tiki Don was a huge hit with our kids! And we appreciated the record player. The kitchen was very well supplied, and the refrigerator was large for a rental property. The trade winds are almost constant, so in the mornings and evenings, sitting on the lanai was perfect. We would be very happy to return to this property in the future!

• Disappointing experience

  Owners description to “walking distance “ should be qualified with actual distance. There was no mention about golf cart service to the beach until our 4th day. The property is actually located furthest from the water along the highway so there was quite a bit of noise. Upon arrival one of the two toilets overflowed and wasn’t fixed until day 2. The BBQ grill grease pan was full of grease and the grill caught on fire the first time we used it. Large space, great kitchen. Very cute Tiki theme.

  -Although our condo is not situated directly on the beachfront, it boasts a convenient location within walking distance. Our guests enjoy scenic pathways winding through the community and alongside the golf course, leading to the beach in less than ten minutes. We understand distance perception can vary, but our goal is always to provide a comfortable and enjoyable stay for all our guests.
  -We apologize for any oversight regarding the availability of our golf cart service. Typically, our front desk team highlights this service during check-in, and we also provide details in our digital Welcome Book sent to every guest. However, upon review, it appears that we may have missed communicating this information effectively, and for that, we extend our sincerest apologies.
  -Our condo boasts advanced Fleetwood sliding glass doors that effectively block outdoor noise. Situated near a quiet road used mainly by golfers and community visitors, we ensure a peaceful environment. Despite the nearby highway, which is on the other side of the shopping center, we've never experienced noise issues or received complaints. We're dedicated to offering a serene retreat for all our guests.
  -Our barbeque grill utilizes disposable grease pans, which are diligently disposed of after each visit to maintain cleanliness and safety standards. Our on-island host has confirmed that while there was a minor accumulation of grease at the bottom of the grill, there was none present in the grease pan. Despite this precaution, we are perplexed as to how the barbeque grill could have caught fire. We seek your expertise to shed light on this matter and provide further insight into the incident. It's reassuring to note that there was no damage reported to the grill.
  -We were recently informed about a toilet blockage and received images showing what seemed to be a washcloth causing the obstruction. It's puzzling how such an item could have been flushed down the toilet, especially considering the previous guest had no reported issues. Additionally, our on-island host mentioned they weren't made aware of the blockage until the third day of your stay, at which point they promptly contacted a plumber.
  -We regret that your stay didn't meet your expectations. Despite this, we sincerely hope you were able to enjoy your time on Maui and that you'll consider returning to the island in the future. Mahalo!

• Tiki paradise

  Been coming to the El Dorado for over 30 years. This is by far the most well equipped unit we’ve ever stayed in anything from the sharpest kitchen knives to juice presses to vacuum, laundry soap, make up remover you couldn’t even ask for anything there was nothing missing great conditions super friendly people always checked in to see if we needed anything Highly recommend !!
