4/5 Overall the experience was very good, however there were several issues while we were there. The two biggest problems were with the Hot Tub, and the fact there were no drapes or privacy curtains in the Master Bathroom. This did not create a privacy issue, but without the window coverings the bathroom would get unbearably hot when the sun was shining in. The windows were exposed for a large portion of the day, so when the it was a sunny day the bathroom was like a Sauna. I called the property manager 2-3 times about this, and they finally sent someone out to make a temporary fix, but I had already hung some bath towels in the windows, but this did not work that well, and they kept falling down. This was a big annoyance for us. Second, the Hot Tub would only work intermittently for the first couple of weeks. The pool guy came out 3-4 times, and the problem was finally resolved, but it was very disappointing for us for the first 2 weeks.
The home is nice overall, and pretty much as pictured, but it has limited eating utensils. 4 teaspoons, 4 butter knives, limited forks, not many glasses or plates, two saucers. It needs to be brought up to the level of many other VRBO/AIR B&B Other rentals. The Owner says that the home is not Pet Friendly, but we had 3 guests that were having pet alergy symptoms, probably from the prior owner of the property. The dining room chairs were very wobbly, and very uncomfortable to sit in. They need to be repaired or replaced. Barbeque grill work great.
Again, overall we really enjoyed the home, and I would stay here again for sure if there were some changes made.

5/5 Our family stayed at this home for a month. The home is located minutes from to Kona and the Walua Trail. The neighborhood is safe and quiet and has beautiful views along the drive to and from the house. Our kids had a blast swimming in the pool and the lanai was a perfect spot to watch the sunset. If we had any questions the host was responsive and accommodating to our needs. We will definitely consider staying here again.
