    This place was very well equipped. It is very close to all the restaurants and shopping. The beds were comfortable and the WiFi was good. The best thing about it was the amazing panoramic views from the lanai!

  • Amazing beachside condo

    We loved staying here!! There was a ton of amenities for the beach and cooking that made our stay even better. It is close to downtown Kona as well.

    The best part was walking up in the morning and having a coffee on the lanai with it’a ocean view. 5/5 :)

    This unit was perfectly located near the waterfront strip with Amazing view from the balcony. It was clean and well equipped. We very much enjoyed our stay, and do plan to return in the future.

  • Wonderful Kona get-away

    This was a wonderful condo experience for us as first time VRBO customers. Amenities were clean and abundant and beds were cozy. The Lanai was incredible in the mornings to watch the sun and great views of pool and oceans. Parking was a pain and our biggest complaint but we figured out that Walua Rd was the best, most consistent parking. Location is such a short walking distance from downtown and restaraunt s/markets/etc. we will be recommending this to friends and hope to stay again in the future!

  • Mostly happy with this rental

    The good: This property was spacious for the two of us. It's in a good location that's an easy walk to restaurants, the water, and other areas in town. It was also very well equipped with pretty much anything you might need. The frustrating: The parking situation for this hotel was irritating and downright dangerous at times. While the condo complex has ample underground and lot parking spaces (each numbered/reserved), the instructions for this property state we cannot park there and must park along a road adjacent to the condo complex. The parking area is dirt, off a very busy street, unlit, and littered with broken glass, broken down cars, car hoods, bumpers and other car parts littered all over, and homeless people living in their vehicles. Being unlit it was extremely dangerous to cross the street when parking there at night. I felt that this was completely unacceptable for the price paid to rent this unit. I'm certain that there was a reserved spot within the condo complex assigned to the unit, but it is likely either leased out separately, or the owner uses it themselves. The check-out time listed is 10:00AM on the day of check-out. While it is clearly stated in the agreement, it seems rather early of a check-out time. My friend and I were all packed (suitcases lined by the door), trash taken out, linens removed from bed, and dishwasher loaded before 10:00AM. The prior day was my friend's birthday, and we wanted to have a piece of his leftover birthday cake with coffee before we left. At exactly 10:02 AM, there was a knock on the door, then another knock moments later. I answered the door, and it was the property manager checking to ensure we were gone by the check-out time. I didn't have time to enjoy the leftover birthday cake as I felt it was a rather pushy move. Again, I do realize that the instructions clearly stated that check-out time was 10:00AM. I feel this is very early compared to every other rental I've done, so be aware if booking for a family. There were bugs everywhere in the kitchen area, and also in the carpet in the living room. The bugs had made a nest in things like the coffee filters and other items in the pantry which were there before I arrived. Every time I felt like I removed everything that was attracting the bugs, they reappeared en-masse.

Because of this feedback, they have provided an additional parking space in the underground garage. The owner is also updating their pr-stay instructions so that future travelers know exactly where to park. We're also sorry to hear of the troubles you had with the check-out time. While the listing does clearly state the check-out time, had you needed a few extra minutes we wish you would've reached out to the local property manager who would've been more than happy to accommodate your request. Regarding pests in the home, the owner has brought up your concerns with the local property manager and we're confident this issue will not recur for future travelers.
