• Fantastic Weeklong Stay

  The place was fantastic! We had incredible views of the ocean, easy walks to the town and restaurants, and a wonderful place to stay.

  The parking spot was very critical, albeit a bit small.

  The place was very well kept and maintained.

  I would highly recommend and if I ever go back it'll be the top of the list!

• Termite & bugs infestation, fridge not working. Not livable condition

  One star because the property manager was nice & because Evolve was swift to issue a partial refund for this unlivable condo filled with bugs and termites. Otherwise I’d give 0 stars if I could.

  Let’s start from the beginning. When I booked the condo, evolve sent me the wrong Condo info. I followed that information upon check-in and a lot of time was wasted just trying to figure out the area and the correct condo.

  The assigned parking was #19 in a garage. Height clearance is only 6 feet, thus only a small car would fit. The open parking area is not within the property, it was on the streets near where people that didn’t appear to have a home hung out.

  Upon condo arrival, we were in awe of the breathtaking views of the ocean. But we immediately noticed wood shavings throughout the condo. Then found dead termites throughout the codno. The property manager claimed that the condo was cleaned prior to arrival but there was no way my 8 month old was able to crawl in the condition it was in.

  We tried to suck it up, even without AC in the living area and kitchen. But then the moment sun set and lights were turned on, there were dozens of flying termites inside the property! We tried to kill them but it was just too much. They were all over our clothes, our food, paper towels, luggage, etc.

  Then the kitchen sink. Bugs everywhere, possibly ants? I don’t know but it was all over the kitchen counter as well. So washing baby bottles was a huge task trying to make sure bugs don’t get in the bottle.

  The cherry on the top was the fridge. I bring a thermometer for my breastmilk when I travel. We noticed inside the fridge wasn’t getting that cold. I put my thermometer in there and hours later, my thermometer shows it was still in the 50s despite fridge temp being set to 33F. Our perishables were wasted, my 2 yr old’s milk wasted, my BREASTMILK which is irreplaceable WASTED.

  I’m only writing all this in hopes that the owner will fix these issues. The condo has potential, but definitely should not be inhabited until they get a PROFESSIONAL termite treatment. Not just the over the counter termite spray which was noticed inside the closets.

  Evolve didn’t give me a full refund, we wasted 1 1/2 days of our vacation unpacking / packing. Time and breastmilk was wasted that I can never get back, but I’m still thankful that we were able to get out of there asap even with just a partial refund.

  So potential customers, beware.

• Amazing view

  This place was very well equipped. It is very close to all the restaurants and shopping. The beds were comfortable and the WiFi was good. The best thing about it was the amazing panoramic views from the lanai!

• Amazing beachside condo

  We loved staying here!! There was a ton of amenities for the beach and cooking that made our stay even better. It is close to downtown Kona as well.

  The best part was walking up in the morning and having a coffee on the lanai with it’a ocean view. 5/5 :)

  This unit was perfectly located near the waterfront strip with Amazing view from the balcony. It was clean and well equipped. We very much enjoyed our stay, and do plan to return in the future.
