  • Nice place

We loved the view from the balcony, however, unless you enjoy washing dishes by hand, don’t rent this condo because there is no dishwasher. Also, the outlet in the loft bathroom doesn’t work (we used the loft as the master because it’s the only king bed. Had to get ready for family pics the moment we checked in, and it was almost too late before I realized my curling iron wasn’t heating up.) We enjoyed using the beach toys that previous tenants have left, and even added a couple boogie boards to their collection.

  • amazing location and views

We loved staying here. If you want to be near everything then this is definitely the place. We were able to walk to all the cute shops and restaurants on Alii drive and we walked to safeway and even kona coffee and tea (great place for matcha and kona coffee and their merch is amazing! the only couple of downfalls with this place is there were ALOT of ants! I have been to Hawaii multiple times and I know ants are always there but we have never had this big of a problem. Also, the upstairs shower drain is just a large hole in the ground....I did not like that. I was always afraid of my foot getting caught in it whenever i used it. I feel like it really needs to be covered with a drain cover asap.but other than that, the patio has such amazing views of the ocean and the old church and it was a great place to eat your meals when not eating out.this is a great find if you are going to stay in Kailua.

  • Did Not Live Up to Expectations

Location and view were fine, but the shower plumbing didn't work and the owner never responded to calls. No toilet paper either! Ants everywhere. Definitely NOT enjoyable.

    Manager's Response:

Hi Mark, thank you for your review. We wanted to pass along the following feedback from the homeowners: We understand your frustration and apologize for the inconvenience. There must have been some miscommunications during your stay. Neither the local manager nor the property owner (myself) have received any call, text, voicemail, or email from you. Our contact info is listed in the welcome book. Typically, if the guest can not reach Kelly, they will contact me so I can help them to resolve their issue through a video call. We have always left two rolls of toilet paper for each bathroom. The loft shower faucet needs to be pulled out first and then rotated to get hot or cold water. This is a third floor property, so we rarely see ants here but will let the local manager to double-check. As corrective actions, first we will make sure both the property manager's and my phone numbers and email are posted on the refrigerator. Second, I will add a note to tell guests how to use the loft shower faucet.
