• Awesome Condo

  We really enjoyed this condo. It is spacious, and has a well equipped kitchen and beach supplies--umbrella, chairs, cooler, snorkel gear, etc...It is located in Kona a short walk from shopping and dining, is close to beaches, and the view from the lanai is wonderful. We would definitely rent this condo again!

• Ocean view condo

  The condo is spacious and accommodated our family of 4 well. It is centrally located and is walking distance to Kona shops and restaurants. Beautiful view of the ocean from the balcony. It was very nice to have an umbrella, beach chairs and boogie board. Snorkeling equipment was also there but we used our own. The unit has two air conditioning units. We were there in the winter and didn’t really need them after the first day. The one in the bedroom is a bit loud so slept better with fans and open balcony. The pool does not open until 9 am so we did not use it.

  It needs a little bit of love to make it feel truly incredible. The walls had visible dust and the carpet in the bedroom was stained. Some of the dishes in the cabinets were dirty. Some of the snacks on the welcome bowl were expired. The kitchen is fully stocked but the knifes need to be sharpened and some have rusted.

  The manager of the unit will reach out a week before so watch out for the message. If you need the Murphy bed they can set it up for you in advance. We did not have sheets for it when we arrived. We mentioned some of the issues with the condition of the cleaning and the management sent the cleaning staff back next day to change sheets, make the other bed and wipe off the dust.

  My apologies for the dust and carpet stain. We will talk to the cleaning crew to make sure they keep an eye on that and to especially look for any dirty dishes. I don’t know if this got missed and the cleaning crew didn’t see it. We will bring this to their attention so they can add that to their checklist!
  
  Thanks very much for bringing this to our attention! I would not be happy finding dirty dishes or outdated snacks. It’s our goal to provide a great guest experience, and your constructive feedback is valuable for us to hear.
  
  The Murphy cabinet bed is supposed to have sheets and will bring this to the cleaning crew's attention. Also, one of us (my husband) is a kitchen and knife aficionado, so he will certainly be taking care of the Knife sharpening issue.
  
  I am glad that despite these problems, you enjoyed your stay. Hawaii is our truly happy place and it’s great to hear from others who love it.

  We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Kona Pacific. The quiet location is close to everything you need, the gardens and pool area are beautifully kept, the condo is clean and extremely well equipped and any of our questions were quickly responded to. Thank you for a great stay!

  We truly enjoyed our stay. Communication, access, check in/out process was smooth & worry-free. The unit was spacious & provided many amenities which we appreciated. The 2 bathrooms were a big plus for our party of 3. We spent a good amount of time in this ocean view unit which offered ample amount of areas for us to relax & unwind. Mahalo to the owners & mgmt - would definitely recommend & return.
