• Another fantastic stay!

  We have stayed in this condo complex many times and in this unit 3 or 4 times. We love Kona Pacific for its proximity to the shops, restaurants and the amenities. Both the owners and the management company are available for any and all questions, and the unit is clean and safe. The unit is well stocked with everything you could possibly need, and the welcome snacks were a nice touch.

  My biggest reason for the lower rating is the unit was dirty. The broom left at the unit was absolutely filthy, did not want to use it to sweep the unit. Paint trim on door jambs and baseboards was very worn and dirty. Exterior of microwave oven and some of the pots and pans had greasy marks on them, same for drawer and cabinet knobs. Took several days to get replacement TV for broken one. Plus side unit was very well equipped.

  1) POOR COMMUNICATIONS with manager: The lack of clear communication and information had us panicking about not being able to get into the condo when we arrived in the early morning. It was nerve racking to be unable to contact the manager because the number he gave wasn’t in service!!! The communication regarding the door code and condo number should have either been given a few days earlier or the rules stated regarding that information given to us as soon as we signed up

  2) GENERAL: The condo could have been great. The building was fairly well located and the parking was great.

  3) DIRTY: However, the furniture and woodwork throughout the condo were covered in dust. The bathroom rugs had to be washed before they could be used.

  The shower was so dirty, dirt ran down the glass when the water was turned on. There was so much hair in the shower drain, it didn’t drain well. Completely disgusting. We left it just as it was when we arrived.

  The bed and towels smelled very stale and were stained. (Once washed, they looked pretty good and smell 100% better)

  Everything needed to be cleaned.

  3) BROKEN: The living room furniture is all broken and the couch had to be spray Lysol before we could sit on it. There weren’t enough pillows to make the furniture remotely comfortable.

  Everything was old and had been used so badly. Needs a complete overhaul and deep cleaning. No beach/pool towels. Even the beach chairs were broken. Not at all what we expected from Kona.

  - We regret that the cleanliness of the unit didn’t meet your expectations. We've shared your feedback directly with our cleaning team to ensure higher standards moving forward.
  - While we haven’t observed broken furniture during our current stay, we understand comfort is subjective and will keep an eye out for any issues, including the lanai chairs.
